Aly Reynolds action
DU sophomore Aly Reynolds had one of the four Panther goals in Friday's 4-0 victory at Kentucky Wesleyan
OWENSBORO, Ky. - Drury broke open a tight contest with three second-half goals and cruised to a 4-0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match here on Friday.

Freshmen Hillary Cockrell and Nicole Williams joined sophomore Aly Reynolds and junior Mandi Little in supplying the offense as the Panthers improved to 3-2-1 overall and 3-0 in the league with their third straight victory. Wesleyan fell to 2-3-1 and 0-2-1.

Cockrell broke the scoreless tie with her goal - coming off the first of two assists from sophomore Kelsy Long - just 1:58 before halftime to put the Panthers ahead 1-0 entering the break. Williams then scored her team-leading third goal of the season off a Long assist just three minutes into the second half, and Reynolds followed at 53:33 off a Cockrell assist.

Little's unassisted goal in the final minute - also her third of the season - closed the scoring.

Sophomore keeper Jessie Sanderson was credited with eight saves in posting her third straight shutout and fourth of the season. Drury outshot the home Panthers 21-9, including 17-5 in the second half.

The Panthers continue their GLVC road swing with a visit to Bellarmine for a noon (EST) matchup Sunday in Louisville, Ky.
