Harding Roars Back To Down Panthers 3-2 In Women's Soccer
Panthers let 2-0 lead evaporate in final seven-plus minutes

SEARCY, Ark. - Harding University's Lady Bison scored three goals in the game's final seven minutes to charge back and defeat Drury 3-2 in women's college soccer action here on Sunday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, the Panthers had taken a 2-0 lead into the latter stages of the match on goals by freshman Nicole Williams, her second of the season (and off a Kelsy Long assist) and junior Mandi Little, the latter coming off a header at the 70:07 mark (assist by Hillary Cockrell). It was also Little's second goal of the season.

Drury had the shutout intact before Harding exploded for three scores to steal the victory. The Lady Bison cut it to 2-1 at 82:58 on a goal by Brianna Meek (Jackie Anthony assist), then 73 seconds later, tied the score when Chelsea Brandon tallied off a free kick after a DU penalty. The game-winner came at 87:07 when Kellie DeAtley scored off a Minnie Guzman assist for the 3-2 advantage.

Drury had 18 shots to 14 by Harding (1-2), including an 11-9 advantage on goal. 

The Panthers (0-2-1) will open defense of their Great Lakes Valley Conference championship when they visit Missouri-St. Louis for a 5 p.m. match in Friday.

Warren was named to the all-tournament team after registering 123 assists and 40 digs and helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish at the Extended Stay Seven Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska.
