2009 Drury Baseball Summer Camp Dates and Registration Opened

Drury University has announced dates and opened registration for their 2009 Summer Baseball Camp. Meador Park, Home of the Drury Panthers, will be hosting the 3-day camp from June 22-24th. Ages 6-9 will be held from 9-12pm. This camp will cover the basic aspects to baseball including stretching, throwing, hitting, running, and fielding. Each of the 3 days will include group instruction and stations on each fundamental of the game taught by a current or former Drury Panther or member of the coaching staff. Camp will conclude on Wednesday with a live game played among the campers

Ages 10-14 will begin the first of their 3 sessions at 1pm lasting until 4pm starting June 22. This camp will cover more advanced aspects to the game including pitching, live hitting, fungo drills, outfield work, relays, bunting, catching, and base running. Each of 3 days will include group instruction and stations on each fundamental of the game taught by a current or former Drury Panther or member of the coaching staff. Camp will conclude on Wednesday with a live game played among the campers based on age and talent level.

Volleyball
Hopkins also was selected to the all-tournament team after picking up a team-high 41 kills with a .349 attack percentage in helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish in the Extended Stay Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska, last weekend.
Austin Warren
Volleyball
Warren was named to the all-tournament team after registering 123 assists and 40 digs and helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish at the Extended Stay Seven Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska.
