After a tremendous response to its debut a year ago, Drury University Athletics announces the return of the best bargain on the Ozarks' sports scene - the "Fam-Friendly Panther Pass" is back for the 2009-10 athletics school year.

Drury Athletics recognizes these tough economic times and the pinch they've caused on household budgets, especially when it comes time to see what's left to spend on family entertainment. The bargain part? In all, one "Fam-Friendly Panther Pass" will admit families to some 30 home basketball games, 25 to 30 home baseball games, 20 or more home soccer contests and up to 10 home volleyball matches - all for a one-time purchase of $100 for the pass.

The "Fam-Friendly Panther Pass" entitles the holder to free general admission seating for two adults and two children ages 12 and under for all DU sports where an admission fee is charged  (kids 5 and under always are free at DU events!).

Of course, that includes a chance to see every home game played by the perennial NCAA-II Tournament and Great Lakes Valley Conference-contending Drury men's and women's basketball teams, who are primed to make a strong run at league and national honors again this winter. Seats will be in demand in this final, historic season at Weiser Gym before the Panthers and Lady Panthers move to the 3,100-seat O'Reilly Family Event Center for 2010-11.

The "Fam-Friendly Panther Pass" also entitles the holder to free admission to all Drury men's and women's soccer games at Harrison Stadium, where both Panther squads are expected to contend for Great Lakes Valley Conference championships this fall; the DU volleyball matches at Weiser, where first-year coach Ashleigh Shear has the program on the upswing; and baseball games at Meador Park, where coach Mark Stratton's Panthers will again be a force in the GLVC and NCAA-II.

And our little fans will want again to take advantage of our great partnership with the Andy's Frozen Custard stands throughout Springfield, as the popular "Compete For A Concrete" promotions will return in 2009-10 for soccer, volleyball, basketball and baseball home contests. Every kid's a winner, either taking home a cone or a Concrete after showing off their skills in the respective sports for all the fans in the stands to see at halftime or in post-game festivities.
