ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drury advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament semifinals with a 5-0 win over McKendree on Saturday at the Forest Lake Tennis Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
 
The Panthers improved to 17-2 and will play the winner of the quarterfinal match between Missouri-St. Louis and Lewis. McKendree ends their season with an 11-10 record.
 
Drury won all the three doubles pairings and clinched the win when Maximillian Hepp swept Maico Egbers 6-0, 6-0 and Nic Sigloch defeated Johnny Hu 6-3, 6-0 in singles. The Panthers had to win one of the doubles matches in a tie-breaker. Leonardo Cerri and Nico Hadeler won 9-8 (7-5) over Ognjen Jevtic and Alberto Soujiano as part of the sweep.
 
Drury's semifinal match is scheduled for noon on Sunday at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis. The championship match will be Monday at noon.
