ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drury will play for the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament championship after their 5-1 win in the semifinals over Lewis on Sunday at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis.
The Panthers improved to 18-2 while Lewis dropped to 14-10.
Drury won two of the three doubles matches and swept singles with wins by
Nico Sigloch 6-0, 6-2 over Chandler Stimpert,
Sacha Mourier 6-0, 6-0 against Anton Levitin, and Maximillian Hepp 6-4, 6-2 over Mate Srdanovic that clinched the match.
The Panthers will play Indianapolis on Monday at noon for the GLVC championship in St. Louis. The Greyhounds advanced to the finals after 5-0 wins in the tournament over Quincy and Rockhurst.
