(Drury 5, McKendree 1) Men's Tennis
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Coach Jarrod Smith claimed his 400^th career victory with the men's 5-1 GLVC quarterfinal win over McKendree Friday at Cooper Tennis Complex.   The 400^th win was his combined 400^th win as the men's and women's coach. 

The Drury tennis teams both advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament semifinals with a 5-1 win over McKendree by the men and a 5-3 win over Lewis for the Panther women.
 
The Panther men improved to 17-3 and McKendree ends their season with an 5-11 record.
 
The Drury men won all the three doubles pairings over the Bearcats, posting wins of 8-4, 8-3 and 8-2 for a 3-0 start.

The Panthers clinched the win when Augustin Diot defeated Nicholas De Guzman 6-1, 6-3 at the three spot in the lineup.  Nico Hadeler topped Maico Egbers at the top of the lineup 6-3, 6-3 before McKendree won their lone match 6-1, 6-4.
 
Drury's semifinal match vs. Lewis is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Cooper Tennis Complex.  The championship match will be Sunday at 9 a.m.

(Drury 5, Lewis 3) Women's Tennis
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Drury women's tennis team advanced to the GLVC tournament semifinals with a 5-3 win over Lewis at Cooper Tennis Complex on Friday.
 
The 18^th ranked Panthers improved to 16-1 while Lewis ends their season with a record of 10-9.
 
Drury took two of the three doubles matches as Larissa Karl and Julia Schepp picked up an 8-6 win over Oana Trus and Simone Parn and Lewis defaulted at No. 3.  The Flyers earned a 8-3 victory over the Panthers at the top position.

The Panthers clinched the quarterfinal win by winning three singles matches.  Lewis started singles down a point by default at No. 6, but posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles to cut the lead to 3-2.  Josephine Jedrychowski dominated Simone Parn 6-0, 6-3 to put the Panthers to within a point of the match win.  Dora Andrejszki, playing at the top of the Flyers lineup claimed a 6-3, 6-4 win before Drury posted a win by retirement at No. 5 by JiaQinng Mo to seal the win.

Drury will play Indianapolis (15-5, 4-1) in the semifinals on Saturday. The Greyhounds advanced with a 5-1 win over Maryville on Friday in the tournament quarterfinals. Saturday's match will start at 2 p.m. at Cooper Tennis Complex.
