The Panthers starting catcher, John played in started 54 games and played in 55 while being the nation's 24th toughest player to strikeout (19.9) . . . John was ranked 30th for sacrifice bunts in the nation (30), 69th for sacrfice flies (5.0) and 75th for sacrifice bunts per game (0.22) . . . While at Ozark High School John was a three-time All-Conference selection, a First Team All-District honoree and Earned First Team All-State honors for Class 4. . . Named Region 16 Player of the Year for 2010. . . In 2008 helped Ozark win the 2008 State Title and have a national ranking of 33. . . John helped Crowder Community College make their first ever JUCO World Series in 2010 and ended the season ranked fifth nationally. . .
