Jamal led the Panthers with a 55.1% field goal percentage on 59-of-107 shooting and had five double figure scoring games with a season high 12 points at Illinois-Springfield on February 11. . . Cummings had 11 points in games at Maryville and at Missouri S&T and ended the season with back-to-back 11 point games vs. Missouri S&T and Quincy. . . Blocked a season high four shots at Missouri S&T and had three blocked shots in games vs. Southern Indiana and vs. Missouri S&T on February 25. . . Jamal was 6-for-6 from the free throw line vs. Angelo State on December 18. . . He scored 140 points and averaged 5.2 ppg. . . Pulled down 85 boards with a 3.1 rpg. average and had six boards in four games.

Cummings comes to DU from Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa Community College, where he averaged 6.0 points and 4.6 rebounds for a 19-12 squad last season. . . His highlight games included 15 points and 12 rebounds against Labette CC and 14 rebounds vs. Allen County in a year in which he shot .595 from the field. . . He averaged 12 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocks as a prep senior at West Florence (SC) High. . . Named MVP of West Florence Pepsi Classic Tournament. . .
