The Drury SAAC hosted Young Athlete's Day on Sept. 15 for area youth. The kids, Drury student-athletes and everyone, young and old alike, enjoyed the day immensely. Above is a photo of some of the youngsters and Drury athletes who took part in the day's events. The photo was provided by Jeff Long, the Director for the Musgrave Unit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield. One of the youngsters from the Boys and Girls Club summed up the day for all by asking, “Can we do this every weekend?” One of the highlights of the event was FREE Andy’s Frozen Custard for all, a generous donation from former Drury golfer, Randal Schulze.
