Kozel captured the singles title at the ITA/Midwest Regional tourney in Grand Rapids, Mich., knocking off top seed Zsofia Lanstiak of Lewis 6-4, 6-3 in the finals to advance to the Small College Championships October 11-14 in Mobile, Ala.
