Funk, a freshman from Edmonton, Alberta, finished in a tie for 10th place to lead the Panthers to a ninth-place finish overall in the UCO Kickingbird Classic last week in Edmond, Okla. Funk had rounds of 72-74-72 to finish at eight-over-par 218, seven shots off the winner's pace.
