Long scored a goal in Drury's 2-1 non-conference victory at Truman State on Tuesday, then fired home the game-winner in the second overtime (and added an assist) in a 2-1 victory over Missouri-St. Louis in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament semifinals Friday. Long also had a successful penalty kick goal on Sunday when the Panthers claimed their first GLVC championship and an automatic bid by defeating Missouri-St. Louis in the shootout.
