Drury freshman golfer Thomas Hay won the individual title at the UMSL Invitational and helped the Panthers capture their first team championship for first-year coach Kellen Mast with his spectacular play in St. Louis.

The standout Canadian shot a final round of 5-under-par 67 to finish the event at 9-under par and win by four strokes over runner-up Carl Hayes of Northern Kentucky. The 67 by Hay tied a Drury record for lowest round in competition, and Hay established a new 54-hole event record with his 207 score.
