Claire McCune was part of two school records and placed in three events at the GLVC indoor track & field championships in Indianapolis last weekend. The Springfield native and New Covenant Academy product finished second in the 5,000 meter run (17:37.03) and was part of Drury's record-setting distance medley relay team that came in seventh. The team set a program record with a time of 12:44.14. Her 5,000 meter time was an NCAA-II provisional qualifying time for the national championship. A day after those two events, McCune broke the school record in the mile and finished fourth with a time of 5:09.74.
