Claire McCune won the Bearcat Invitational in Bolivar on Saturday. McCune won the five-kilometer race by 19 seconds finishing with a time of 18:32.88. She helped the Panthers to a third-place finish among nine teams at the event. It was the second career win in a cross country event for McCune who won the individual championship in the GLVC last year as a freshman.
