For the second straight week, Claire McCune broke her own school record in a five-kilometer race as the sophomore from Springfield ran a 17:28.6 at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas on Saturday. McCune was the top NCAA-II runner in the event and finished eighth overall in a field of 424 runners.
