Claire McCune won the GLVC individual cross country championship for the second straight year, and she set a new Drury record in a six-kilometer run at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday. McCune posted a championship time of 21:14.92, breaking a six-year-old DU mark by 13 seconds previously held by Erin Dolan. McCune was named the GLVC Women's Runner of the Year as she became only the ninth runner in league history to repeat as conference champion. The Panthers also had their best team finish ever in the GLVC finishing third in the conference meet.
