Daejah Bernard was named the MVP of the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center Thanksgiving Classic as the Lady Panthers won both games in the event and went 3-0 for the week. Beyond her numbers, Bernard was credited as being Drury's 'X-factor' in creating turnovers by Lady Panthers opponents, and she fuelled Drury's defense leading to three wins. In Tuesday's victory over Minnesota-Duluth, Bernard scored 14 points with six rebounds, four assists, and eight steals. She had 10 assists in Drury's win against Davenport on Saturday and averaged 4.5 steals in three games last week.
