Ellie Cobb tied for first at the UIS Spring Invitational played at the Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield, Illinois on Saturday. The tournament was shortened to one round with inclement weather forecast for Sunday's second round. Cobb fired a three-over-par 76 and tied for first with Maria Espinosa of Illinois-Springfield marking her first career tournament win.
