Brenden Crews won the 5,000-meter run at the Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Missouri on Friday. The freshman from Springfield-Kickapoo completed the event with a time of 14:52.79 and took first-place finishing nearly three seconds ahead of the next closest runner, Shane Burkey of Nebraska-Kearney. Crews became only the third Drury runner in history to break 15 minutes in the 5,000-meter run and his time last week is the second-best mark ever by a Panther.
