Kinzy Mathis hit .550 in six games last week going 11 for 20 at the plate with four home runs, and 12 runs batted in. The junior and transfer from Conners State scored eight runs and added a double and a stolen base. Mathis reached base safely with a hit in all six games and had three multi-hit games. She hit a home run in three straight games going deep in both halves of the doubleheader at Lincoln, and she hit a pair of three-run homers in game one of a doubleheader against Quincy. Mathis became just the 11th player in program history to hit more than one home run in a single game.
