Chaaz Ferguson-Cooper defended his Great Lakes Valley Conference title in the 400-meter hurdles last week at the conference championship meet in Kirksville, Missouri. He won the event with a time of 53.05 setting a new school record and earning a provisional qualifying time to the NCAA-II national meet. Ferguson-Cooper also helped the Panthers gain points in the 4x100-meter relay team as part of a squad that finished sixth, and he contributed to another school record in the 4x400-meter relay on a team that finished ninth with a time of 3:27.62.
