Clayton Engel rebounded from an 0 for 3 start at the plate in the NCAA-II Midwest Regional and went 7 for his next 13 with two home runs and seven RBI’s in Drury’s three remaining games in the tournament. The junior from Ozark scored four runs, hit two doubles and drew two walks in his final three games. In the regional, Engel posted a .438 average and had an on-base percentage of .550. Engel's two home runs in the tournament raised his season total to 12 matching a Drury single-season record.
