Aaron Clark graduated from Drury on May 13, 2001 with a degree in public relations. During his four year golf career at Drury Aaron helped lead the Panthers to three NCAA-II post-season appearances. He combined with Drury Hall of Famer, Ryan Roy, in 1998 and 1999 in helping lead his team to the NCAA-II West Regionals and in 2001 he was the team leader as Drury advanced to its first-ever NCAA National Championship Tournament where the Panthers finished 10th in the nation. That same year the Panthers, behind Aaron, won the Heartland Conference title, the Southwest Baptist Invitational, the St. Mary's Invitational and the Missouri Western Invitational. Aaron earned NCAA- II All-American honors that year, an honor that had previously been earned by one other Panther golfer, the aforementioned Ryan Roy, who was inducted into the Drury Hall of Fame two years ago (2004). Aaron had a four-year stroke average of 76.1 and three times had rounds of 69. Aaron is only the third Drury golfer to be inducted into the Drury Sports Hall of Fame. He joins 1970 Drury graduate, Steve Sheppard, who was inducted in 1996 and Roy. Aaron continues to play professionally and for the past two years he has competed on the NGA- Hooters Tour. He has twice qualified for the Price Cutter Classic, held annually at Springfield's Highland Springs Country Club. Aaron came to Drury from Harrison, Arkansas where he was a two-time Arkansas 3A state champion.
