Eva was an all-american in each of her four seasons (1991, 92, 93, 94) for the Panthers in sprint freestyle events. The Goetborg, Sweden native was considered one of the three Swedish Connections that was a dominate force while at Drury. Along with fellow Swedish teammates Cecilia Gadd and Lourette Hakansson, Eva helped the Panthers capture three consecutive NAIA national championships in 1992, 1993, and 1994. As a senior she finished second in the 50, 100 free and 200 free. She was also a part of five national championship relay teams her senior season: the 200 free, 400 free, 800 free, 200 medley and the 400 medley. Eva scored 45 points as a junior at the 1993 national meet and placed third in the 100 and 200 free. She took sixth in the 50 free and was on the national championship 200 medley relay team, the national runner-up 200, 400 and 800 free relays as well as the 400 medley relay in 1993. As a sophomore Eva was second in the 100 and 200 free and third in the 50 free at nationals. She was also a member of the national champion 200 and 400 medley relay teams. As a freshman she took second in the 100 free, third in the 50 free and fourth in the 200 free at nationals. At the time of her graduation Eva was on the Drury team record setting 200 free, 400 free, 800 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams. The 200 medley relay team of Eva, Lourette Hakansson, Nida Zuhal and Cecilia Gadd held the NAIA national record with a time of 1:46.96 in 1994. The 400 medley relay team made up of Eva, Hakansson, Cashel Mack and Diane Spivey also broke a NAIA national record in 1992 with a time of 3:52.59.
