Gail Fredrick was the first player to be inducted into the Drury Hall of Fame in 1969.  While playing at Drury, Gail was on the MCAU All-Conference first team four years in a row, and was the league's most valuable player his freshman season.  As a sophomore, Fredrick was given All-American honorable mention status by the NAIA.  In his senior season he led the Panthers to a perfect 14-0 conference record and to the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City.  The 6-4 Fredrick is currently twelth on the all-time scoring list with 1,559 points as he averaged 14.7 point per game with the Panthers.  He is also second in the Drury record books for most rebounds in a career with 958 in his four years.  Gail graduated from Drury in 1969 and immediately went into law school.
