Steve Dickey, a 1995 graduate, came to Drury from Denver, Colorado where he was a prep All-American at Alameda High School.  A four-year letterman Dickey was the program's first goalkeeper, a time in which the program was competing as a member of the NAIA (District 16) for three years before competing at the NCAA-II level in 1994-95.  Dickey earned All-District 16 honors during his Panther career while his teams qualified for the NAIA District 16 soccer playoffs all three years.  In 1993 the Panthers were 15-6 (the best record in Drury soccer history) and advanced to the second round of the District 16 playoffs.  That year Dickey had a record-breaking 169 saves, a record that still stands.  Dickey obviously held virtually evert goal keeping record upon his graduation from Drury and he still holds many...more than 10 years later...including most games in goal (65); most minutes in goal (5,440); career saves (522); career shutouts (13) and single season shutouts (9). Steve earned his degree in history from Drury on August 12, 1995.  He now resides in Monument, Colorado where he is a sales representative with Synthes Spine.  He and his wife, Gina, have one child: Ian, who is one year old.
