Union finished the game on a 31-11 surge over final 12-plus minutes to pull away from No. 5 Drury for a 75-54 victory over the Panthers to conclude the Elliott Lodging Properties Thanksgiving Classic Saturday afternoon at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Kameron Bundy had 17 points to lead the Panthers, who dropped their second straight in the Classic and fell to 3-2.

Union, ranked 21st in the D2SIDA Top 25 Poll this week, improved to 6-0. The Bulldogs - who defeated Truman 84-53 in Friday's play - placed four in double-figures, with Marterrace Brock leading the way with 17 points.

Jordan Montgomery added 16 points, Ashanti Day had 15 points and Serigne Mboup added 10 for the Bulldogs, who outrebounded the Panthers 35-32. Day had nine rebounds and Mboup added eight for the visitors from Jackson, Tenn., a long-time NAIA power that's made a quick transition to winning at the NCAA-II level.

Drury trailed 32-25 at the half after being down by as much as 14, and cut into that deficit further by hitting 8 of its first 13 shots to open the second half and pull within one (44-43) with 12:30 to go.

But Union countered with a quick 10-0 run to push it back to 11 (54-53) over the next two-plus minutes and Drury never recovered.

The Panthers shot a season-low 37 percent (19 of 51) from the field, after opening 7-for-26 over the first 20 minutes. Drury was just 2-for-16 from 3-point range, including a combined 1-for-13 from Bundy (1 for 9) and sophomore guard Tevin Foster.

Truman State defeated Cameron 90-85 in Saturday's opener of the Thanksgiving Classic.

Union's Brock (MVP) and Day, Drury's Bundy and Truman's Cory Myers joined Cameron's Deondre Ray on the Elliott Lodging Properties/Drury Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament Team.
