Southern Indiana Earns 4-0 Victory Over DU Baseball Saturday

Southern Indiana scored four runs on five hits and an error in the sixth inning to claim a 4-0 non-conference game victory over the Drury baseball Panthers at Meador Park on Saturday.

Drury is now 4-11 and Southern Indiana improved to 11-4.

John Goodrich, Michael Pfeifer and Ryan Wadkins had hits for Drury with USI finishing with nine hits led by Hamilton Carr and Ryan Bertram who each had two.

Devin Williams (2-1) earned the win in a complete game shutout with four strikeouts allowing just three hits for USI.  Luke Burnidge (1-3) received the loss for the Panthers and had five strikeouts in seven innings of action.

Drury will be at Southwest Baptist on Tuesday in a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
