Lady Panthers face Missouri Western in home opener
Drury faces Missouri Western in the Lady Panthers regular season home opener on Saturday afternoon at the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Tipoff is 1 p.m.
 
Drury is 2-1 and coming off of a 93-82 loss at Southwest Baptist on Tuesday. The 93 points allowed by Drury is the most they have surrendered in a game since Jan. 19, 2012 when Quincy posted 96 points on the Lady Panthers in a 96-60 loss to the Hawks in Illinois.
 
Missouri Western is 3-0. The Griffons started the season with two wins in the Upper Iowa Classic with a 76-46 victory over Southwest Minnesota State and a 65-49 win against host Upper Iowa. On Wednesday, Missouri Western won their home opener with a 67-63 win over GLVC opponent William Jewell.
 
Following Saturday's game, the Lady Panthers are idle until the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center Thanksgiving Classic. Drury hosts Arkansas-Ft. Smith on Friday and Union (Tenn.) on Saturday. Both games start at 5:30 p.m.
