Drury hosts DoubleTree by Hilton Thanksgiving Classic
The Drury Panthers host the DoubleTree by Hilton Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday.
 
The event starts Friday with William Jewell (5-0) playing Lincoln (3-1) at 1 p.m., then the Panthers (2-1) take on Minnesota State-Moorhead (2-2) at 3:15 p.m.
 
Saturday, William Jewell will face Minnesota State-Moorhead at 1 p.m. followed by Drury's game with Lincoln at 3:15 p.m.
 
Minnesota State-Moorhead has split their first four games of the season but went 24-6 last year. The Dragons have been in the NCAA-II tournament for three straight seasons and have gone 89-16 during the last three years.
 
Lincoln comes to Springfield on a three-game winning streak after their season-opening loss, 80-78, to Southwestern Oklahoma State in Bolivar on Nov. 10.
 
With a 5-0 record, William Jewell is off to their best start ever since becoming an NCAA-II program.
