Panthers open conference play vs UMSL
Drury plays their Great Lakes Valley Conference opener on Thursday against the University of Missouri-St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
The Panthers are 4-1 and last weekend won both games in their Thanksgiving Classic with wins over Minnesota State-Moorhead, 101-81, and Lincoln, 100-90. Drury was picked to win the West Division in the GLVC preseason coaches' poll.
 
UMSL comes to Springfield with a 3-2 record. The Tritons are coming off of an 83-64 win over Robert Morris-Peoria last Saturday. The GLVC preseason coaches' poll picked UMSL to finish second in the Central Division.
