Lady Panthers go Hawaiian
The seventh-ranked Drury Lady Panthers head to Honolulu, Hawaii for two games in the Oahu Christmas Classic.
 
Drury is 9-1 and carries a seven-game winning streak into the two games. The Lady Panthers play Montana State-Billings on Saturday and Notre Dame (Ohio) on Sunday.
 
Montana State-Billings is 9-0 and receiving votes in the WBCA/NCAA-II national poll. The Yellowjackets defeated the University of Providence 87-65 on Dec. 9 in their last game to stay unbeaten. Saturday's game will mark just the second meeting between Drury and MSU-Billings. The two teams last met in Las Vegas during the 2013-14 season with the Lady Panthers squeaking out a 76-75 win on a shot at the buzzer by Annie Armstrong.
 
Notre Dame (Ohio)  is 8-3 with two of their losses coming to nationally ranked teams including number one ranked Ashland 108-71 on Nov. 14. Sunday's game will be the first-ever meeting between the Lady Panthers and Falcons.
 
Following their trip to Hawaii, Drury will be idle until Jan. 6 when they host 17th ranked Southern Indiana for a 1 p.m. game in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
