Panthers return to the floor to host Saint Mary
The Drury Panthers return to the floor for the first time since Dec. 17 as they host Saint Mary (Kan.) on Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center for a 3:15 p.m. tipoff.
 
Drury picked up a win in Florida in their last game with an 84-79 win at Embry-Riddle on Dec. 17 to raise their record to 8-2. The Panthers have won their last three games and are 5-1 at home so far this season.
 
Saint Mary is 7-7 and playing their first game since Dec. 12 when they lost to Southwestern (Kan.) 89-77. The Spires are an NAIA Division II program and a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.  They went 22-10 last year and have won at least 20 games in two of their last three seasons.
 
Drury is 4-0 all-time against Saint Mary, and the two teams are meeting for the first time since Dec. 17, 2011, when the Panthers won 90-52 at home against the Spires.
 
Saturday's game is the last non-conference game of the regular season for the Panthers. Drury plays again on Saturday, Jan. 6 when they face Southern Indiana for a 3 p.m. game at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
