SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury baseball team hosts McKendree in a four-game series starting with a doubleheader on Friday at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
Friday's doubleheader starts at 2 p.m. with the first game scheduled for nine innings followed by a seven-inning game. Saturday, the two teams meet for a nine-inning game at 2 p.m. and the four-game set concludes with a nine-inning game on Sunday at noon.
The Panthers are 2-2 after starting the season with a four-game series split with Washburn. SS
Shane Benes went 7 for 14 with a home run and three runs batted to open the season while
Caleb Essick has driven in four runs while going 6 for 17 at the plate.
Ryan Colombo, scheduled to start on Friday, has one of Drury's two wins while
Austin Simms is off to a 1-0 start as well.
McKendree enters the series with a 1-2 record. The Bearcats opened the year losing two of three to the University of Montevallo in Alabama last weekend.

Tickets to Drury games at US Baseball Park are $5 with children ages 12 and under admitted free and can be purchased at the stadium gates.
