SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury's Catfight with Southwest Baptist shifts to the spring and the baseball diamond tomorrow. The Panthers face SBU on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Spring Catfight presented by Bank of Bolivar at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
The Panthers are 7-4 entering Tuesday's game. They are coming off of a pair of losses having been swept in a doubleheader at Arkansas-Fort Smith on Saturday falling 7-2 in game one and 16-15 in game two.
Southwest Baptist is 9-6. The Bearcats have lost three straight after having been swept last weekend in a three-game series at Missouri Western State.
Tuesday's game is the first of two meetings this year. The season series will shift to Bolivar on April 4.
Nic Perkins leads Drury's offensive attack hitting .422 with three home runs and 14 runs batted in through 11 games.
Ryan Kayhill is hitting .381 and
Shane Benes has a .372 average with four homers and 13 RBI's.
Langdon Simkins (0-1) will get his third start of the season on the mound and make his fourth appearance of the season on Tuesday for Drury.
The Panthers are 8-3 all-time against Southwest Baptist. Drury won the only meeting between the two teams last year, 13-8, in Bolivar.

Tickets to Drury games at US Baseball Park are $5 with children ages 12 and under admitted free and can be purchased at the stadium gates.
