Lady Panthers in NCAA-II Midwest Regional
Drury plays Bellarmine on Friday at 1:30 p.m. (central) in Ashland, Ohio in the opening round of the NCAA-II national tournament and Midwest Regional.
 
Drury is 28-3, ranked 5th in NCAA-II, and seeded second in the regional. The Lady Panthers won the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament championship, went 17-1 in the league regular season and won the GLVC West Division. They have won eight in a row heading into Friday's game.
 
Bellarmine is 22-7 and seeded seventh in the Midwest Regional. The Knights are receiving votes for the top 25. They lost to Drury, 87-62, in their last game on March 4 in the GLVC semifinals. Bellarmine went 13-5 in the conference regular season to finished tied for second in the GLVC-East.
 
The winner of Friday's game advances to the Midwest Regional semifinals and will play the winner of #3 Saginaw Valley State and #6 Lewis on Saturday at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
