Lady Panthers look to bounce back at Indy
Coming off of their first loss since Nov. 14, and just their second defeat of the season, the Drury Lady Panthers look to bounce back at Indianapolis on Saturday at noon (central).

Drury was ranked sixth in this week's WBCA / NCAA-II coaches' poll and enter Saturday's game 15-2 with a 6-1 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.  They are in first place with a two-game lead in the loss column in the West Division over Truman State and William Jewell. The Lady Panthers lost on Thursday at Bellarmine, 84-70, snapping Drury's 13-game winning streak.

The Lady Panthers will look to avoid back-to-back losses in Saturday's game, something they have not experienced since Jan. 7-9, 2016 when they fell at Lewis and Wisconsin-Parkside. Drury's longest losing streak in the three-and-a-half years under head coach Molly Miller has been two, and they've only been through that twice. The 2016 back-to-back losses and in 2014 when Drury fell at Washburn on Nov. 22 and to Pittsburg State at home on Nov. 28. Drury went 30-4 last year but never lost two games in a row.

Indianapolis is 6-12, 3-5 in the GLVC and in fourth place in the East Division. The Greyhounds are coming off a 79-63 win at home over Truman State. UIndy is 4-5 at home and 2-7 on the road so far this season. They are led in scoring by Martha Burse who is averaging 22.1 points, the second-best average in the GLVC.
