Lady Panthers stay at number eight in WBCA / NCAA-II poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury Lady Panthers are ranked eighth in this week's WBCA / NCAA-II national poll. It marks the second straight poll Drury has been at number eight, and the 70th consecutive week the Lady Panthers have been ranked in the top 25, the longest such streak in Division II women's basketball.
 
Drury is 11-1 and 3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
 
Ashland (13-0) remained number one in the poll. West Texas A&M (12-0) is ranked second, and Indiana (Pa.) (12-0) is ranked third.
 
Southern Indiana is the only other team in the GLVC ranked in the top 25. The Screaming Eagles are ranked 20th and visit the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game against the Lady Panthers. Southern Indiana enters the week 10-1 and 2-0 in the GLVC.
