Panthers return to GLVC play vs. Southern Indiana
The Drury Panthers resume their Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule on Saturday as they host Southern Indiana at 3 p.m. at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
The Panthers are 9-2 and 2-1 in the GLVC. Drury has won their last four games including a non-conference win on Saturday at home over Saint Mary (Kan.) 101-83. Last Saturday's game marked the final non-conference game on the Panthers' regular season schedule. Drury is a half-game behind William Jewell in the West Division standings entering play on Saturday.
 
Southern Indiana is 12-3, 3-0 in the league and tied for first in the East Division with Bellarmine. The Screaming Eagles picked up a conference win at home on Thursday defeating UMSL 84-73. Southern Indiana is coming to Springfield with a four-game winning streak that includes a 94-77 win over 15th ranked Lake Superior State in Evansville.
 
Following Saturday's game, Drury is idle for a week and returns to action on Jan. 13 when they host Missouri S&T for a 3 p.m. game at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
