Drury hosts the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
The Lady Panthers are ranked ninth in this week's NCAA-II and is the 84th consecutive week Drury has been in the top 25, the longest such streak in the nation. Drury is 4-0 and coming off of a 70-58 win at home over Minnesota-Duluth on Tuesday.
Drury's first opponent in the event is Lindenwood, and the Lions are undefeated as they head to Springfield. Lindenwood, who will join the Great Lakes Valley Conference next year, has beaten two GLVC teams this year with wins over Missouri-St. Louis 82-66 on Nov. 14, and Illinois Springfield 91-76 on Nov. 16. The Lions went 20-13 last year, won the MIAA tournament and advanced to the NCAA-II tournament.
Davenport comes the Thanksgiving Classic 2-2 and is coming off of a 74-56 win over Olivet Nazarene on Tuesday. Davenport is in their second year as an NCAA-II program.
