Lady Panthers take five-game win streak to Rockhurst
The eighth-ranked Drury Lady Panthers will put their five-game winning streak on the line Thursday when they play at Rockhurst. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m. at Mason-Halpin Fieldhouse in Kansas City.
Drury is 20-2, 11-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and in first place in the West Division with a four-game lead over second-place William Jewell. Drury is coming off of a 103-57 win at Missouri S&T on Saturday.
Rockhurst is 9-11, 5-7 in the GLVC and tied for third in the West. The Hawks won on Saturday with a 54-48 victory at Truman State. Rockhurst has gone 5-4 at home so far this season.
During their winning streak, the Lady Panthers have not allowed a team to shoot better than 38 percent, they haven't allowed more than 60 points to an opponent, and they have held teams to less than 50 points three times in their last five games. Drury's average margin of victory during the winning streak is 35.8 points.
