SOMERS, Wisc.- Drury extended their winning streak to seven games with a doubleheader sweep of Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday in Somers, Wisconsin. The Panthers overcame a 3-0 deficit in the first game to win 6-3 and hung on for a 5-4 win in game two.

Drury improved to 20-22 and 11-15 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Rangers fell to 21-25 and 9-17 in the league.

After falling behind 3-0 in the first inning of game one, Drury scored a run in the second and tied the game in the top of fourth on Jacy Ummel's two-RBI single. The Panthers then took the lead an inning later taking advantage of a Parkside error and a run-scoring single by Natalie Lopez.

Dominque Salinas went 2 for 4 for Drury with three runs scored. Kasey Cazares (9-7) won her fourth straight start in the win as the sophomore from Calexico, California went seven innings allowing seven hits, three runs, two earned runs and two walks with three strikeouts.

Drury built a 5-0 lead in game two and hung on to win by a run. Salinas went 3 for 4 in the second game hitting two doubles and scoring a pair of runs. Hailly Greenough belted her third home run of the season with a solo shot in the first inning.

Ummel had hits in both halves of Saturday's doubleheader to extend her hitting streak to 14 games.

With Saturday's wins, Drury reaches the 20-win mark for the first time since 2015.

The Panthers end their season on Sunday with a doubleheader at Lewis. Game one starts at noon in Romeoville, Illinois.
