Drury plays their second straight road game on Saturday as they take on Illinois Springfield for a 3 p.m. tipoff at The Recreation & Activities Center on the UIS campus.

The Panthers are 9-8, 3-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and are coming off of a 72-60 win at McKendree on Thursday. The Prairie Stars are 11-5 and are tied for the third-best record in the GLVC with a 4-2 mark in the league. Illinois Springfield beat Missouri S&T 80-58 on Thursday.

The Panthers have won 12 of the 13 meetings all-time against UIS including the last eight straight against the Prairie Stars. Illinois Springfield's only victory against Drury was a 75-70 win over the Panthers on Jan. 21, 2012 at UIS. Drury won last year's game 80-60 on Jan. 25 in Springfield, Illinois.

After Saturday's game, the Panthers are back on the road for two games next week. Drury takes on number one ranked Bellarmine in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday night, then the Panthers travel to Southern Indiana for a game at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
