Panthers challenge number one ranked Bellarmine
Drury takes on the nation's number one ranked team on Thursday as they travel to Bellarmine for a 7:05 p.m. (Central) game in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Panthers are 9-9, 3-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and are coming off of an 88-87 loss at Illinois Springfield on Saturday. The game was Drury's fifth one-point loss this year and was their seventh defeat in a game decided by a single possession. None of Drury's nine losses have been by more than six points.

Bellarmine is undefeated with a 16-0 record and a 7-0 mark in the GLVC. The Knights won at Rockhurst on Saturday 82-72 and this week maintained their top spot in the NCAA-II coaches' poll.

Drury leads the all-time series against Bellarmine 11-9, but the Knights have won the last three meetings including their 82-62 win over the Panthers last year at Knights Hall on Jan. 18.

After Thursday's game, Drury travels to Southern Indiana for a 3 p.m. in Evansville on Saturday.

Notes To Know
--Bellarmine will be the third ranked team Drury has played this year. The Panthers lost to #4 West Texas A&M in overtime 68-62 on Nov. 2 in Anaheim, Calif., and fell to #12 Barry 82-81 on Dec. 16 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
--Drury head coach Steve Hesser needs just five more wins to match the career victory total of A.L. Weiser for the program's all-time lead in career coaching wins. Coach Hesser is 311-123 in his 15 seasons leading the program.
