Lady Panthers at Bellarmine
It is the scene of Drury's only conference loss in 2017-18, and one of only two defeats the Lady Panthers suffered during the regular season last year – Knights Hall at Bellarmine.
Â
The second-ranked Lady Panthers are one of five unbeaten teams in NCAA-II at 17-0 and 7-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference as they take on the Bellarmine Knights on Thursday at 4:35 p.m. (Central) in Louisville, Kentucky.
Â
Bellarmine defeated Drury 84-70 on Jan. 18, 2018 for the Lady Panthers only loss in the league and only their second conference loss in two years. The 84 points scored by the Knights were the most Drury has given up in a game since then as Bellarmine shot 62 percent from the field in last year's game.
Â
The Knights enter Thursday's game 8-7, 2-5 in the GLVC and losers of three straight. Bellarmine is coming off of a 62-52 loss at Rockhurst on Saturday.
Â
Following Thursday's game, Drury will return to the place where they lost their only other GLVC game in the last two years - Southern Indiana. That game is Saturday at 1 p.m. in Evansville.Â
