Panthers renew rivalry with Rockhurst
The Panthers play one of their oldest rivals on Saturday as they travel to Rockhurst for a 3 p.m. game in Kansas City. The two teams will be staging their 116th meeting all-time with Drury leading the series 71-44. The Panthers have won 14 straight against the Hawks since the 2010-11 season.
 
Drury enters Saturday's game 7-6 and 1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers will be looking to rebound from an 81-80 loss on Thursday at William Jewell.
 
Rockhurst is 7-5 and 2-1 in the GLVC after their 72-69 win over Missouri S&T on Thursday. The Hawks started their league schedule with a 64-60 loss at Truman State on Nov. 29 but bounced back two days later to win at Quincy 72-56.
 
Following Saturday's game, the Panthers will be back at home for the first time in more than a month when they host Indianapolis for a 7:45 p.m. tipoff in the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Thursday, Jan. 10.

-- Thursday's 81-80 loss to William Jewell was Drury's third one-point loss of the season. Four of the Panthers losses have been decided by one possession.
