Julia McCown helped the Panthers to a 3-0 record last week as Drury extended their winning streak to eight games that included a victory over 12
th ranked Rockhurst on Saturday. McCown averaged 3.82 kills per set and posted a .392 hitting percenter. The freshman had 16 kills in Saturday's win over Rockhurst, 12 in a three-set win over William Jewell on Friday, and 14 kills at Southwest Baptist on Tuesday.

Yannick Lamers, men's soccer

Yannick Lamers recorded shutouts in both of Drury's games last week, extending his shutout streak to three games. The junior from South Africa blanked Truman State through two overtimes in Friday's scoreless tie in Kirksville and got the win in the Panthers 2-0 win at Quincy on Sunday. Lamers had 13 saves during the week, including a season-high seven on Sunday against the Hawks. With the two clean sheets last week, Lamers now has five shutouts so far this season.

Lady Panthers host Wingo Night on Monday
The Drury Lady Panthers will host Wingo Night on Monday in the O'Reilly Family Event Center's banquet room. The event allows fans to meet the team, enjoy wings and drinks from several local establishments, and play bingo.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and the cost to attend is $10.

The Lady Panthers will add four new players to a roster that returns all five starters and brings back 11 letter winners including the 2019 WBCA NCAA-II Player of the Year, Hailey Diestelkamp. Drury advanced to the final four last year going 35-1, 18-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.Â

Single-game tickets now on sale for men's and women's basketball
Single-game tickets for the Drury Panthers and Lady Panthers are on sale now at the O'Reilly Family Event box office.

The Drury men's team is coming off of back-to-back NCAA-II tournament appearances and last season went 21-12 and 13-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers open with an exhibition game at home on Nov. 1 against Mid-America Christian and will play their first regular season home game on Nov. 14 vs. Harris-Stowe.

The Lady Panthers went 35-1 last year and advanced to the Division II Final Four for the second time in program history. Drury returns all five starters and 11 letter winners while adding four newcomers to their 2019-20 squad. The Lady Panthers start their year with exhibition games on Oct. 19 against Columbia (Mo.) and versus William Woods on Oct. 26. Drury's first regular season home game is Nov. 11 against Minnesota-Duluth.

Tickets to Drury basketball games are $10 for a single game and $12 for dates when both teams are in action. Children ages 12 and under are admitted FREE to all of Drury's exhibition and regular season games. Tickets can be purchased at the box office during business hours Monday through Friday; they can be ordered on-line through DruryPanthers.com, or by calling 417-873-6389.

Basketball season tickets and booster packages
Basketball season ticket packages and booster club memberships for the 2019-20 season are on sale now at the O'Reilly Family Event Center box office. A combined ticket plan with men's and women's season tickets is just $325. Booster club memberships that include special parking privileges, access to The Lair, and other benefits are also available.

The new Panther Flex Pack also provides an additional season ticket option that allows fans to choose any five Drury home game-dates. The $75 plan includes two season tickets and children under the age of 12 are admitted free.
