Top Ranked Lady Panthers travel to Missouri S&T
For the first time this season, the top-ranked Drury Lady Panthers will face an opponent for a second time as they travel to Missouri S&T for a 1 p.m. tipoff on Saturday in a rematch of their Dec. 1 game in Springfield.

Drury is 23-0, 13-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and ranked number one for the third week in a row in the WBCA/NCAA-II poll. The Lady Panthers are coming off of a 77-44 win last Saturday over Missouri-St. Louis.

Missouri S&T is 9-11 and 5-8 in the GLVC. Entering today's game, the Lady Miners are ninth in the league in winning percentage, and they sit ninth in the conference's point rating system. Missouri S&T was idle on Thursday and lost their last game, a 71-65 home loss to Maryville last Saturday.

Drury won the previous meeting against Missouri S&T 113-61 on Dec. 1 at the O'Reilly Family Event Center scoring a season-high 113 points in the win. They also registered a season-high 29 steals. The Lady Panthers lead the all-time series 26-6 and have won 12 straight against the Lady Miners.

Following Saturday's game, the Lady Panthers return to action on Thursday, Feb. 21 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis for a 5:30 p.m. game.

--Drury's 23-game winning streak is the second-longest in program history. The Lady Panthers won 30 straight in their national runner-up season in 2003-04.

Hailey Diestelkamp is two points away from passing Hope Hunt for 8th place on Drury's all-time scoring list. Diestelkamp enters today's game with 1,348 career points, and the junior also ranks 4th in career rebounds (760), and 4th in career steals (271).

Daejah Bernard's 143 assists this season are the third most by a Lady Panther in a single year. She is just 23 assists away from Drury's season record - 167 by Ja'Nell Jones in 2009-10. Bernard is also 5th at Drury in career assists with 364.Â
